Presentation

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am 17 years old. I live in a small village in Murcia called Torreagüera. Before this town, I used to live in a country next to the beach.
I am usually busy, but when I have got nothing to do I like listening to music, hanging out with friends or watching some films. I live with my parents and my little dog named Kitty. I've got a sister but she has lived with her boyfriend for 7 months.
I have just started the university, english studies. I decided to study this degree as I love learning a new language and improving it everyday. I would like to learn english perfectly and I hope so. I also love the United Kingdom and the United States, so it is good for me to learn to speak English so that I will be able to communicate with the new people there. 

Poem: Fear

Fear of not finding a job.

Fear of working all the time.

Fear of going abroad.

Fear of having to stay in the confortable zone.

Fear of regrets.

Fear of missing a good friend.

Fear of not successing in life.

Fear of being forgotten before death.

Fear of disappointments.

Fear of having to study too much.

Fear of insects in my body.

Fear of my parents getting old.

Fear of being stolen.

Fear of missing the train.

Fear of sloth.

Are new technologies positive?

   In my opinion, new technologies are positive. This can be associated to the fact that they are useful for a lot of activies such as studying, searching information, even entertaining people. However, new technologies have also negative points due to the fact that they make people use the computer all the time and forget about the rest, for example when a person need to know something, he prefers using the Internet instead of a book since this's faster. In fact, there are many people who stopped reading books when they discovered how fast and useful using the net can be.
