The fault in our stars

My favorite book's name is The fault in our stars.
It is about a girl named Hazel who has a serious illness, cancer. She has suffered it since she was a kid.
One day, her parents decided to take her to a support course in the church, where the sick people go to support each others.
She did not want to go until she saw there a very handsome guy.
They started to speak until they became a couple. The boy, called Augustus, had only one leg because of an old cancer.
They got on very well and spent all their time together, even travelling.
But, one day, Augustus found out he had cancer again in all his body and he was going to die. He told Hazel and this was so sad.
This is a very nice and sad story. Althought it is very sad, the story is told in such a way that you only want to keep reading and you fall in love with the characters, I really recommend it.

Problem-solution paragraph (Overcrowded classrooms)

Overcrowded classrooms are a serious problem in the current colleges and universities because they make students' marks get worse.
When students are in a very crowded classrooms they do not listen what teacher says fully, so they tend to think about other things or do what they feel like doing. They also speak more often with their classmates since there are a lot of people, and the ones that sit in the end find it easier to do it since the teacher cannot see them.
The main solution to this problrm is to reduce the amount of students in a classroom, which is in the teachers' hands. But how can teachers do this?
They shoud divide the cass into two classes in such a way that each half goes with a different teacher. If they divide the students, the classrooms won't be as crowded so the students will be able to listen the teacher easier and improve their results.

Conclusion paragraph (The three Africas)

The idea that we have of Africa is not real since there are three different types of environment instead of just one jungle. As we have seen, it can be divided into a northern deserted area, a southeastern region which makes a good habitat for animals and some crops, and the popular region of jungle in the west. So in conclusion, we should not base our knowledge of Africa on what we have watched on television.

Shopping reflection

Last year I didn't use to go to the shops very often because of my lack of time. However, nowadays I have the time for my hobbies when I finish my lessons. I thought this was going to be awesome since going shopping it's one of the things I like the most, but it was not that good.
Yesterday, I went shopping and bought some new clothes. What's more, I had also been the previous day. When I came home, I was not so glad so I stopped to think.
Then I realized how addicted shopping can be. When I didn't use to buy so many clothes, I was always very happy when I got them. However, since I finished the college I have been buying lots of clothes in  such a way that instead of loving my new ones, I keep thinking about gettin more and more.
This made me prove the more I buy, the more I want.
Then, I realized I had to change my mind. I had to do it less and appreciate what I have as that's a huge luck, so I did.
I started to save the money I spent on my clothes and go less, being this the best thing I could have done.

Nightmare

Yesterday at night I had a horrible nightmare about a friend's death.
It was Saturday night and my friends and I went to a party, which consisted of biding our time in the street drinking and speaking.
In this way, we were talking and laughing when suddenly a friend of mine suffered an attack and falled down. He also started bleeding and his blood spread out on the floor.
My friends and I were so shocked that we did not know what to do, and I called an ambulance. But it was so late that my friend had already died when it arrived.
I felt really bad, I could not believe what I was living and started crying hardly, when fortunately I woke up and realized that nothing had happened. I felt very relieved and happy.

Sad scene

Two days ago I was walking around the street in the city centre when I saw a really bad scene. There was a homeless women asking people for money and seemed to be drunk.
She came across an old man who was sitted in a bench and asked him for some money, but the man refused. Suddenly, she started hitting him with his crutch.
Everybody went help him and stop the women, who was also shouting at him and insulting him.
The poor ancient was scared and a bit hurt, whereas the women was still so furious.
People in the street called the police and I continued my route.
This made me feel a bit depressed since I realized how alcohol can ruin your life and at the same time I felt sorry for the ancient.
It was a bad scene to see but it also made me realized that we all have to be careful with the people we don't know when we are in the street and if I see this women again, I will runaway.

Week-end in Barcelona

Last Thursday my parents and I decided to go to visit Barcelona in order to have a special weekend together.
We took a bus and arrived there at 2 in the morning. Then we went to sleep in the hotel.
We woke up and went shopping. We ate in a Chinese restaurant and continued our route in the city centre. Barcelona looked amazing and it was crowded!
Later we visited some monuments such as 'La sagrada familia', 'Park Güell', 'Casa de Gaudí'... We loved them and we were surpised at their beauty.
At night we felt so tired that we only felt like staying in our hotel chilling out.
The next day we continued visiting the city and went to see a football match as it was my father's wish, he was very excited.
Eventually, we went to a theme park on Sunday. It was quiet funny but my parents did not try so many rides so I had to try them on my own.
To sum up, it was a very good and unforgettable weekend with the two people I love the most.
